Sorry it's hard to read in pencil, but I alter things so much if I wrote it in pen it would be a scribbly mess!! And of course you have to put up with the blurry marks that are still on my camera lens 😐
Slightly clearer but still with blobs!!
My veg soup is cooking away in the soup maker as I type and starting to smell delicious.
A close up of the things I'm making.
And my little notes.
And a reminder to myself!!
Breakfast ... I threw in the apple for good measure 😀
Now it's time to whizz up the soup now and get stuck in.
Sue xx
It would be daft to copy my comment from your other blog, but same thing applies. I am finding your project absolutely fascinating, and thank you for sharing it all.
ReplyDeleteAn absolute pleasure, it's good to see you back on here :-)
DeleteI am on my Kindle and when I press the picture of the menu and it comes up, I can enlarge it so I can see the whole thing very well.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, I'm just sorry about the cameras blobby marks then, there's no way you could get rid of them ;-)
DeleteThey are so small they are insignificant.
DeleteIts looking good. I fancy making Woolton pie as I have some ready made pastry in the freezer so I look forward to seeing Thursday's meal 👍
ReplyDeleteIt's literally just any veggies you have with either a pastry or mashed potato lid. But I'll find a recipe in one of my books and get a photo of it for you.
DeleteThanks, Sue, that would be brilliant 😀 x
DeleteDrooling reading your menu♥ Woolton pie has always sparked my interest, have you ever made this before?
ReplyDeleteYes, we had it a couple of times when we did a month long wartime Ration Challenge a couple of years ago. It's tastier with a pastry lid, but we tried the mash top too. With pastry you get more of a difference in textures, when it's literally all veg with a mashed potato top it's a bit samey. But either way it's filling.
DeleteLove the eat more veggies reminder. What exactly is Woolton Pie?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
It's basically vegetables in a pie dish with either a mashed potato or pastry lid. Cooked in the oven and usually served with gravy.
DeleteIt looks brilliant - very healthy and simple. Enjoy!

Yes, it's all pretty simple fare isn't it. Hopefully it will still be tasty though :-)
